An annual event hosted by Lowrider Magazine in Las Vegas, NV USA. 

This is not just a lifestyle but a culture, with dedicated individuals and committed families who spend their time, tears, sweat and money into projects that sometimes last years. Going from what others think are junk or classic cars these extensive projects are more than the surface shows.

For anyone who has never experienced this culture, it truly can be a culture shock to realize that it is NOT an expensive hobby but a passion passed through generations.

The scene itself is more than we could just scratch, on the surface.

There are multiple car clubs located around the nation and even overseas. Born in the late 1940s in sunny California this phenomenon of Mexican- American culture relived a peak in the 90's, when Lowriders became strongly associated with West Coast Hip Hop and G-Funk culture. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Warren G among others featured Lowriders in their music videos.
