This is not just a lifestyle but a culture, with dedicated individuals and committed families who spend their time, tears, sweat and money into projects that sometimes last years. Going from what others think are junk or classic cars these extensive projects are more than the surface shows.
For anyone who has never experienced this culture, it truly can be a culture shock to realize that it is NOT an expensive hobby but a passion passed through generations.
The scene itself is more than we could just scratch, on the surface.
There are multiple car clubs located around the nation and even overseas. Born in the late 1940s in sunny California this phenomenon of Mexican- American culture relived a peak in the 90's, when Lowriders became strongly associated with West Coast Hip Hop and G-Funk culture. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Warren G among others featured Lowriders in their music videos.
Intricate Designs and true craft of the art make these classic cars shine in a new light.

]]>In a city where looks are somewhat important in regards to the Las Vegas hospitality and nightlife industry, many people go to great length to stand out. This man stands out in a crowd and a world of everyday people and yes even from those who will go to greater length.
I noticed Moon when I was at the DMV, it hasn’t happened to me a lot yet, that I run into someone and get the vision of the final edited image in my head but I had an overwhelming feeling that made me jump out of my seat and approach him. With my business card in my hand I introduced myself and said that I was interested in taking his pictures.
I know of a few models who have vitiligo, Winnie Harlow is probably the most famous since her appearance on ANTM. Or Curtis McDaniel, who was apparently only 11 years old when the first speckles of vitiligo appeared.
Vitiligo is a skin condition, the skin loses pigment cells and it results in discolored patches in different areas of the body, including the skin, hair, retina and more. A few weeks after I approached Moon at the DMV, I got a text message from him and I was excited that he agreed to a test shoot, so we scheduled a shoot for the end of May.
You can break down, fall apart and let the circumstances own you or you can own the circumstances and rise like a Phoenix. It's all about perspective. And yes it is easy to say for someone who blends in but the awareness is raised.
Out of my perspective, you should embrace it, whatever is brought upon you in life will only make you stronger. Embrace to be different, embrace what the universe gifted you. There is always a reason for everything in life.
I am very thankful for the opportunity of not just meeting him and getting to know each other, having a fun photo session and even more happy with the images I captured and the edited images. The vision I had when our paths crossed became reality in these pictures. Thank you Moon!

To say the least, I was happy to be a part of this and made it up the hill with my equipment and since the proposal was a surprise, the conditions gave us some really adorable and romantic engagement pictures of the couple. The view was stunning and I want to at least share these two images from the session with you.

When fitness is a huge part of your life, the world is your gym and even a busy street in Las Vegas can be inviting for some planks and push ups.
Trevis makes any type of sports equipment look good in his NIKE Sportswear on this Keiser Spin Bike.
He is a serious drill instructor when it comes to getting into shape.
So don't mess with this serious look, as a personal fitness trainer he will motivate you to look better naked!
I would have a hard time choosing between these two images, is there one pose better than the other?
These editorial style shots are the result of some great natural lighting we were able to capture.
Trevis looks like he is just featuring a page in a fitness magazine for a Nike ad. Don't you think?
And if you are looking to hire him you can reach him through Instagram @trevisnextdoor
The views from here over the Las Vegas valley are amazing! The dress Laura is wearing in the images above does have an interesting pattern that doesn't draw away or distract to much from Laura herself. The choice of this dress was great for this editorial style business look. However, I suggest to stay away from busier patterns like this image below. The image of Laura in this dress is more of a personal portrait and not good to use for a business profile. It does not portrait the message. Although this photograph of her is amazing.
The same goes for the image below, the pattern of the dress is distracting and not professional enough to portrait her position. This picture is almost green screen like and looks like a mad composition but only the lighting and lens blur is slightly adjusted, I got very lucky capturing this image. The view of the Las Vegas Valley in the background is amazing up here from MacDonald Ranch in Henderson, NV. I hope she would use this picture in her home.
Please make sure to collaborate with your photographer on the look you want to portrait and what the choices of the outfits will be. I think that is important and should be discussed in a consultation or meeting. If you are uncertain, don't hesitate to hire a professional stylist. You are investing in yourself with a photo session like this.

And in order to update my content and continue this blog, please have a look at one of my favorite kids modelling session with this talented and outgoing young lady named Zoe.
Her attitude and fun personality made it easy for me to capture her in this model portfolio building session.
We decided to have our session beginning of fall at Mount Charleston and used different locations around that area.
For this Session we also decided on different outfits for Zoe to model.
If you are thinking about getting your child into modeling, make sure you bring different types and styles of clothing.
A variety of different outfits and looks show off how versatile your child is.
For a professional set card you need at least 5 images, while you have 1 head shot on the front of the card and 4 photographs on the back.
It can be a long day if you book a full set card or modeling portfolio session and could be strenuous on your child but also fun, adventurous and rewarding.
It is important that you start the day out with a proper breakfast and that the child is not rushed.
It is also good to bring snacks and water or juices with you to the session.
Without make up and hair done, this head shot is all natural, I think it's a great look especially for child models.
Most agencies and clients want to see a models natural beauty rather than a finished product!
The creative mind of an artist will prefer this look.
In order to get the best results, your child gets the room to play and have fun at the set.
Of course supervision and attendance of at least one parent is mandatory and always required.
Even though modeling is a hard discipline, natural poses always succeed. Just Be Yourself!
The image below is one of my favorite compositions from the photo-shoot, we came across some wild horses,
which also happened to be one of the last images captured that day.

It is always a great pleasure to document a new life in it's first few days in this world, especially if they come in cute knitted partial clothing. Baby William was born on October 28th 2015 and we met him on November 1st 2015. In the comfort of his home with his mommy Katie we had a wonderful time taking these precious images of her second son.
William's mom Katie already had set the theme and the idea with this cute American Football setting, so we were absolutely on board right away and excited to get started.
As I mentioned earlier, we only met Baby William 4 days after he was born and that is a very important side note. It is easier to take pictures of newborns within the first 7 days after they left the womb. They still sleep a lot and fall asleep faster, they don't stretch much yet and are a lot easier to pose as well maintain in the positions you mold their little bodies in. They are still very flexible and can hold certain poses for an amount of time that allows the photographer to get the perfect shot. Of course with mommy right there it is insured that the newborn is always taken care of and comfortable.

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of having a very talented young lady in front of my lens. I was very excited trying all kinds of poses with this young Ballerina as well set ups in my studio here in Las Vegas. Losing flexibility over the years myself, it first appeared to be a challenge. But this young lady was able to express the poses I suggested easily. I Armelly was a pleasure to work with, very mature for her age of only 10 years, easy to direct and a beautiful subject.
Since this was our first session together, we warmed up with a white backdrop and some easy ballet poses going through the positions. After that we started with posing her in the studio.
Since the white backdrop was a not the best contrast for the light ballet tights, we switched over to a black backdrop and included a glass table top that we placed on top of the backdrop to create a natural reflection.
This allowed us to get stunning images with a prop that was easy to use. Armelly's physical flexibility and her calm, friendly and gentle personality transferred great into these images.
Bringing in a mirror, allowed us to step it up yet again and we were able to capture some even more creative images of this young Ballerina.
All in all this was a very well rounded creative session that due to the set changes took a little longer than expected but the outcome of these photographs proves that it was worth every minute spent.
]]>
Starting with the different colored backdrops, which are mounted to the wall and easy to pull down. The sets can be changed fast. The color options I offer include Black & White as well as Blue & Green for some more creative projects and chroma key.
But this is not all, there is a long wishlist for certain equipment that needs to be updated as well as other props and set options around the house. So the work continues. I felt like I had to share this new interesting fact. So yes I am open for business in my Las Vegas Studio so feel free to contact me with your photography needs.

There is no second take on your wedding day and in order to have the memory from your special day last for a lifetime, it takes more than just a body holding a camera and pushing button. Unless you are going for an extremely unconventional style and look. You want to ensure that you receive a certain quality and that certain moments will be captured without doubt. This includes the exchange of the rings and of course the first kiss as husband and wife. Sure, uncle Joe might have attended many weddings before yours but a professional wedding photographer has the experience and eye for detail that is necessary to capture these images. This is the photographers profession.
There is a variety of professional photographers to chose from, with different styles, packages and pricing.
The Style
Be sure to research the photographers portfolio and see if you like the style of the photographer. The angles the images are taken in, the quality of the photographs and the overall feel. Like many artists, photographers come with their own flavors and not everyone shares the same taste.
The Packages and Pricing or a menu "a la carte"
Don't be fooled, just because you hired the photographer does NOT mean that you own all the pictures from your wedding. And if this comes as a surprise, this article will help you understand and prepare. I found it so very well written and informative, that I am sharing this link rather than to explain it in my own words. Many photographers offer packages, these packages come with certain features and are mainly a deal in regards to "a la carte" orders. It is almost comparable as going to a fast food restaurant, where you can get a meal bundle that includes fries and a drink with your burger or you order from the menu where you pay for each additional item, in the end the choice is up to you. When you are working with a budget, there are many options. Estimated and based on the 2013 average wedding spending, the costs that you need to calculate for just hiring a service professional are between $1,000 for a wedding on a budget up $3,000 for the average wedding, and $5,000+ for a couture wedding, make sure you inquire with the professional what is included and what not. Also make sure to be honest with the photographer about your budget, if you feel uncomfortable spending a certain amount or if the pricing proposed by the professional is beyond your budget. Ask them what they can do for the budget you have available, you will be surprised, if your personalities click or if your wedding is something out of the ordinary, they might be willing to work with you.
Every photographer should have a website or a blog, where their work is viewable. If they can not provide you with a portfolio, you might want to step away from considering them. Also make sure to ask if the photographer will be the one who is documenting your wedding, depending on the size of the company.
Speaking for myself, as soon as I am in touch with the couples, I suggest a meeting to find out if we click. Just because I work within your budget doesn't mean we are a match. I want to make sure that we are comfortable with each other, this will reflect in your photographs. My intention is to bring out the best in you, your spouse and your wedding party. In the first meeting I take notes of your wishes and concerns, I collect as much information as possible to either offer you a package or helping to create a package for your desired needs. Depending how far along you are with your planning I also suggest an engagement session. Please follow this link to find out more. I have also written in a prior post about engagement sessions. I find it valuable time spent which will make you feel even more comfortable and prepared on your wedding day. I put together a proposal and based on that proposal, we establish a written agreement. I also inquire a provided shotlist from my couples that states which shots the couple really wants. For example, family members, certain couple shots, the bride with her mother, groom and groomsmen, etc...
And there are many more additional services available, keep in mind that you can inquire about video production as well.
]]>was not really necessary, his business has a lot to do with posing! It was a fun session with Mic Thompson, the energetic choreographer, here at our studio in Las Vegas and it turned out some fabulous studio shots! Mic has been a very close and dear friend for many years and I was proud to capture his personality. I never try to bother my friends with forcing my work on them, so it was a wonderful surprise when Mic inquired about shooting with me. I felt honored and was happy to have him in front of my lens. "Thank you Mic" !
Mic has been an in-house Disney Choreographer for several years, with the Walt Disney Company. Mic is the choreographer that brings the best dancers in LA to burn the floor at Disneys El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, in full production live stage shows TANGLED, UP, RATATOUILLE, HERBIE-FULLY LOADED, SANTA CLAUS 2, MONSTERS INC., and many more. He also played a role in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL. He also was one of the very few in the entertainment industry who was fortunate enough to perform with Michael Jackson as a principle dancer from 1993-2002 and danced right behind the King Of Pop in Dangerous and as Uncle Creepsley in GHOSTS. On my latest trip back home to Germany, "my fatherland in the old world", I decided to work a little bit on our family tree. Before I go further though, I have to say that I love where I am from. It is where my roots are, where my family is and my heart belongs. As for my choice of living, I prefer the land of opportunity and free, where the American Dream is alive in the sunny state of Nevada and Las Vegas as my first choice as a home from home. Traveling back and forth, I have plenty of time to think while traveling by plane and my thoughts mainly spin around the same subject.
How precious life is, how every moment counts, how I don't like to waste time, how important it is to make the most of it. And oh so much more, but I don't want to bore you with my thoughts.
I find a lot of fulfillment in my photography, documenting moments in life that will never return. I emphasize on being creative, having fun and producing stunning images. Also it is a huge learning experience and gaining more knowledge with each day, each session and each edit.
Photography has been around for many centuries, even before the camera obscura, there were signs of interest in photography. The development of this art, from it's baby steps on, would be another post on my blog. So, let's move on to my actual subject of this post.
I was in Germany, working on my family tree and foraging through boxes like a maniac, looking for certain images I had seen in the past, when I grew up, there was an album in my grandma's draw. In 2013 my parents had a lot of water damage from massive rain floods and I was almost ready to give up, when I found the oldest photo album in our families possession, half destroyed in a laundry basket drying. I was devastated to see this and almost in tears. I slowly opened the album and inspected the photographs. The vintage images survived!
Remember when we started printing pictures at home on our inkjet or laser printers? Let me tell you this, if those images would have been printed on poor quality paper, they would have been none existing by now.
The photographs I found are over a century old and the quality is amazing!!! Considering what these images have been through.
So I did my best to clean them as gentle and good as I could. And to prevent further possible losses, I decided to scan them in order to have digital copies and I archived the original images in a safer spot.
My main focus of this post shall not be ignored though, I would like to take your attention from the actual photographs and look at the back which is actually next to the picture. The amazing artistry and graphic design with all the detailed information about the Studio.
It also states that the original plates will be archived with the studio for reproduction and enlargements. Too bad that some of the studios do not exist anymore. As I am in the process of re-branding 7o2 Photography to Alexandra Mona Photography, I am very intrigued and challenged by these oldies. It was an amazing experience re-discovering these historic photographs. Researching the photographers and studios, brushing up on family and photography history. These images enriched my life in a way that I can not describe. The impact they had and what I will cherish in the future from this, to me it is a priceless find.
There are many benefits to having your pictures taken by a professional photographer, in this special phase of your life. I will go more into detail later on. But, making this moment in your life last forever with stunning images of your journey to motherhood, is for most women a once in a lifetime opportunity.
The best time to take your perfect maternity images is around the 33rd week
of your pregnancy.
(+- a week) it depends on the growth of your belly.
My main focus is on capturing your natural beauty and that radiant glow while ensuring your comfort and well being. While having you in the middle of a lake getting amazing photographs like these.
As a female photographer I understand the female body and whether you want to expose your belly or not, there are many creative ways of capturing this milestone in your life. I encourage you to bring ultrasound images, baby shoes, maybe a dress shirt from the dad and anything else that can make the images more personal.
I understand that a weight gain and certain flaws that come with this body change might not make you feel the most attractive or that the roller coaster of emotions and hormones can be a drain. And yes, I do edit the images and use Photoshop if you want, not many mother's to be like the belly button sticking out, stretchmarks or when you are even further in your pregnancy, the human seam. I promise to make you as flawless as you want to be.
I see it as my responsibility to take that stress away from you and produce stunning images that will last you as a lifetime memory. Pregnancy is so special and precious and it has become more and more of a celebration in our cultural environment. Being a part of this journey in a woman's life and documenting these moments is a fabulous reward with a production of amazing photographs.
Whether you choose to have a session by yourself or include your partner, soon to be siblings or any other family member. It is a way of showing affection, excitement and believe to your child. You can use the images for invitations to the baby shower or to display them in your nursery. So, if you were hesitating on having a photo session with that growing belly, I think you can say yes and start planning. This is also a great way to find out if you want to continue working with your photographer and have them taken pictures of the newborn, if they specialize in this, like I do. I also offer discounts on newborn sessions if I previously had a session with the mom to be.

Your natural beauty and the glow you possess are an asset that will turn your pregnancy pictures into something so wonderful and special. Allow me to be a part of your journey and document these precious moments for you and your loved ones.
The best time to plan and actually have a photography session is around and in the 7th month of your pregnancy. I encourage you to have images with your family members as well as single shots and a session with siblings. If you have something creative and special in your mind I am always open to your suggestions and the use of props can come in handy as well. Bring your ultrasound images and if you already purchased any clothing, we can use those in the images as well.
Mostly, I want you to feel comfortable and have a great experience while we produce something special. Please contact me with any suggestions and questions.
]]>In collaboration with hair and make up artists, we have hair and makeup packages available!
It's time for you to step up and finally get out of your bubble to take pictures that embody your beauty, pictures that will look great in your bedroom and that can be a gift for that special man in your life.
Together, we inspire, we create and we produce sexy fashionable and stylish photographs!
You do not have to chose a color theme, certain outfits or a specific location for your photo session. The most important aspect of the session is that you have fun and that the family enjoys this experience together. After all it is not your everyday activity being photographed. And whether you are shy or self conscious, have fun with it and have fun with your family! It will reflect in the pictures and this is what helps the photographer to create a great memory.
Here are some tips and tricks on how to prepare for your session!
Moms and Dads
Newborns and Babies
Use a wash cloth to clean away flaky skin and eye boogers.
Trim those tiny fingernails and toenails with appropriate baby trimmers.
Book your shoot around your baby’s feeding and nap times, work with the natural rhythm of your baby. The perfect time to shoot is right when the baby would be laying down for a nap. If your baby normally falls asleep after a feeding, wait to feed the baby until you’re at the shoot. Baby photographers allot plenty of time for this sort of thing to set up the best situation for great photos.
Dress up paper diapers. Cloth diapers are classy and stylish, but if you don’t use them, bring bloomers or decorative diaper covers, solids preferred.
Nothing is the best wardrobe for a newborn – no outfit fits a newborn well, and they often look swallowed in clothes. Accessories are good, though – little hats, dainty headbands, boys in crocheted hats, etc. Bring sentimental items like the quilt that Grandma made for the baby, a baby blanket from your own childhood – they’re great for the youngster to lay on.
If your baby takes a pacifier, bring it – if they’re bottle fed, bring an extra bottle to help put the baby to sleep.
Also, if you want any personal props in the pictures, please bring those along as well. 2-3 different outfits and shoes per person for variety.
I hope these little tips help to prepare for the shoot and add to the experience. It makes a big difference and what is better than sending heartfelt greetings and wishes with a customized greeting card?
My vendors offer many designs and samples but if you have special graphic requests, I can surely adjust your personal greeting card.

An excerpt from Rob's article on http://www.lightstalking.com/obnoxious-photographer-beliefs
"Friends Will Work for Free – The ridiculousness of asking your accountant friend to do your tax for you for free is readily apparent to most people. So is getting your dentist friend to do a bit of free root canal work. For some reason, that doesn’t extend to photographers. This one seems to be unique to photographers too.
Better Equipment Means Better Photographs – When a painter comes up with a fantastic painting, do you say, “Wow, you must have a great brush and paints!” This is a pet irritation of a lot of photographers. If you really think that it takes an expensive rig to take a great photograph, then you need to check out what can be done with the humble iPhone.
My Brother Can Shoot the Wedding – Well, your brother probably can take photographs at the wedding. Just like he can do your tax. Or fix your car. Of course if you want your car to keep going, or avoid getting slammed by the IRS, then you might like to get a professional to look at your tax return and car. Just like you might like to check out some professionals if you want good wedding photographs.
They Have No Right to Shoot X – The truth is that if a photographer is in a public space in most western countries then they can shoot just about anything. That includes you, security guards, police, children, your house – anything. If they are on private property, then it’s different, but in public there is usually no legal expectation of privacy. (Check the laws in your own country for specifics). That’s not to say they shouldn’t be polite, but rights are a whole different issue to manners.
If It’s a Striking Photograph, It Must be Photoshopped – A talented photographer knows that getting an image right “in camera” is the best way to end up with a great result. Many are actually very good at it and get stunning images before they get anywhere near a computer. That is what makes them good at their craft. That is why they study. That is why they practice.
They’ll Be Grateful for the Work and Work Cheap – This one again goes back to professional respect. You don’t ask your dentist for a discount. You don’t ask your child’s teacher to throw in Maths and Science, but don’t charge you for geography. You don’t ask your waiter to throw in dessert for free. So don’t do this to a photographer. If you cannot pay for the service, then don’t ask for it.
I Know a Guy Who Can Do It Much Cheaper – Yes, yes, everybody knows a friend of a friend who can do the photography job for a third of the cost. The kicker is that a photography business is an expensive one to run and you get what you pay for. If you’re happy enough to risk your cheap shooter, then go for it. Just don’t use it as a cheap bargaining ploy when you’re talking to a professional."
In any industry I have ever worked in, people use and need skills they have learned in one way or the other by education which in some cases costs more and in other cases costs less. Regardless of that, the equipment to run a photography business doesn't come cheap either. Camera bodies and lenses, reflectors, speed lights, batteries, programs for the computer and backdrops, the list goes on and on. It is expensive and needful to run a good business. A service that is provided shall be properly paid for or do you work for free? Or just work for food and lodging?
“I am an artist, This does not mean I will work for free, I have bills just like you! Thank you for understanding.”
]]>The Walker family was great and wonderful to shoot with. They are easy going and with a little bit of direction we got some incredible photos from the session at Sunset Park in Las Vegas, which offered a great backdrop for the perfect family portrait.
Their baby girl was just a few months old and she already had an amazing personality. Make sure you also capture these moments, they won't last long and they will never return.
Nowadays there are so many options and whether you go for a color theme or a special location, some families might even chose studio portraits. The perfect time to get dressed up and share your favorite family pictures.
A big THANK YOU to the Walker Family for hiring me and my services. I hope they enjoy the pictures.

In the last post I described how great our two and a half hour session with little Jazlynn was and how she was so adorable and almost angelic in the pumpkin fairy shoot . Here are some more images from the same session a bit more sassy. We played Trick or Treat and got some great Halloween shots! How exciting that was, hopefully reflects in the images.
What a fabulous season and it's just a couple more weeks until the little trick or treaters are out and about. Playing tricks and getting treats.
And as they are growing up so fast it's a nice occasion to get images of the little ones in their favorite Halloween costumes. Why not send some greetings and surprise the whole family? These moments are rare and here to cherish, they will never come back. So whether you are hiring a professional photographer like myself or get some snapshots on your own. These are important memories!
Little Jazlynn was a delight working with and as I am getting more and more into kids photography, she is a blessing.

I am the first one to admit that I am not used to photographing little ones much and since I don't have children of my own, yet, I am still learning more and more about handling the little humans on set and in front of the camera.
These images of Jazlynn make it look so easy, she looks calm and relaxed in these photographs almost angelic.
But these images where the last ones I took during our almost two and a half hour session with many outfit changes and mini breaks here and there.
The pumpkin fairy theme turned out to be my favorite and I am excited to share these photographs with you.

7o2 Photography was out of my perspective a good brand name and branding to go with. I wanted it to be different and not go with my own name at that time. It was affiliated with the city I lived in, which got me started and to be quite frankly, it did have it's perks.
Throughout the past years, I have noticed that my website address wasn't the best choice though and quite difficult to communicate when it was not on paper. I was happy with my brand and logo for the past 4 years.
As life happens, perspectives and opinions change, we as humans develop and so do companies. And while my personal life is changing, 7o2 Photography's life is changing as well. I am using this as the perfect timeline and being the main reason, for rebranding my photography business. I am ready to make it more personal, my photography is personal after all. I create images in style with passion and class and want to have a brand that is attached to myself more so rather than a location. I have come to realize that the time has come and change is good! As for now, the website is still running under www.seven-o-two.com but I am slowly introducing my new branding. Please feel free to add me on Facebook and stay tuned for more updates.
And while the main photography business will run under Alexandra Mona Photography, I am also introducing my logo for Wedding Photography.
I know this transition will take quite some time and rebranding your business is not easy. It's almost like reinventing yourself.
I do not regret the past four years and my 7o2 branding, it helped me establish and gain experience, friends, clients and to develop in the industry.
If you are interested in finding out more about branding and rebranding , I came across some great articles and the information I found will hopefully help me steer into the right direction as well.

After planning the Wedding Session for about three weeks and kudos to Bianka from Events by Bianka, we were finally able to have our first couple "Chelsea and Devin" in the studio on Saturday. Bianka has exceptional organizational skills and she had everything planned to the T, from the Hair Stylist and Make Up Artist to the props, it was a pleasure and made my job as a photographer a lot easier! It was grand having the opportunity working with her, building my wedding portfolio and I am looking forward to the future and collaborating.
The couple, which was selected for the shoot was adorable and they did a fantastic job considering the outside temperatures almost being in the 100's, even the AC in the studio had a hard time keeping cool that day. And we had to get outdoor images as well and they were true troopers. The long day was well worth it though and I hope everyone who participated in this project enjoys the images as much as I do.

The restaurant provided great photo opportunities with the hired models dressed up as Geishas and the entertainment continued with a variety of DJs and Japanese drum show. All in all I believe the Grand opening was a success and I hope to see this Japanese dining experience in a remote location to succeed. I believe it belongs on the strip but if word gets around, the west side of town shall surely support this local business.

Well, testing makes perfect, so hopefully the creative juices will keep on flowing in the next few days. I am actually excited and enjoy this new side of my photography life.

A couple that has never been photographed professionally before, will find that the engagement session is a valuable and important session. Some couples may feel it’s a waste of time or it is not necessary, however there are many valuable reasons why you will benefit from having a session with 7o2 Photography. This is a great way to getting used to the camera, getting to know your photographer and many more.
Establishing a relationship with your photographer long before your wedding will make a difference in the outcome of your wedding images.
The advantage of this is that you can let your photographer know ahead of time if there are shots or angles you do not care for, also you can let your photographer know the things that you do like, communication is key.
If you like to know if that Hair Style and Make Up you are planning to have for your wedding, will work in the pictures, you can test it in the engagement session. This way you get to see how you look in photos and you can let your Hair Stylist and Make Up Artist know if there is anything you would like to be changed.
On the wedding day you will look forward to having your picture taken, instead of dreading the thought of having a camera following you all day.
Once you have your engagement images there are many things you can do with them. Most couples would rather have an engagement image on their wall instead of one in their wedding attire, however some do both. We all have individual tastes so there is no right or wrong.
You can send an engagement picture to friends and family or they can be used in your wedding program / magazine, invitation, or in a save-the-date card.

From there it’s just a few steps further down Ocean Blvd and you can take the steps down the cliffs to the beach.
Many local gulls nest here, among other bird species. So be sure to bring your camera! The ground squirrels found a perfect place
to burrow and if you are lucky you can see the seals warming up in the California Sun as they lay on the rocks close by the shore. Shell Beach is a very residential area although the locals are used to seeing strangers and welcome you sharing their amazing views of the Central Coast. Close by
are many resorts, great restaurants and you can even rent kayaks.
A great place for a weekend getaway!
